It is expected that the time of opening will be 1.45 p.m. and that ships will then come up the channel to the new berthage for the occasion. The volume of meat exports for Bluff is rising steadily, and Ulis season about 2.46 million freight carcases will be handled at the old port This is another meat shipment record.
