Aero Club Orders 10 In Australia MELBOURNE, October S The Auckland Aero Club has placed orders with the newlyformed aircraft division of Vieta Consolidated Industries, Sydney, for six Vieta Air Tourer and four Vieta R-2 light aircraft. The order is worth £55,750. The order was announced in Melbourne today by the commercial and export manager for the Vieta aircraft division, Mr David Vaughan. The Air Tourer, formerly known as < the Milliter, was designed in Melbourne by Mr Henry Millicer, who is how chief designer for Vieta. The secretary-manager of the Auckland Aero Club. Mr L C MaeCormick, said tonight the aircraft would replace Pipers and Cessnas at present operated by the club. He bad flown the prototype of the Air Tourer and had been most impressed by its seating. performance, especially aerobatics, and economy of operation.
