Fashion Council Invitation
The International Fashion Council, the arbiter of men's fashions, has invited a New Zealand shirt manufacturing company, Ambler and Company, of Auckland, to join its select membership. Only one firm in each country is admitted, and only by invitation. The council, with its headquarters in Amsterdam, has 30 members, each of whom has to be "the leading, or one of the leading, companies in its country, both in regard to fashion and output capacity.”
