GIFT BUTTER SCHEME
Scope Broadened This Year
By completing a form supplied by the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission and forwarding an appropriate sufo of money to the Commission's headquarters in Wellington, New Zealanders can send gift butter parcels to friends in Britain and Northern Ireland. The gift butter scheme, which originated last year when 12,000 parcels of butter were sent, has been broadened this year to enable 28 pound gift boxes of butter to be sent to any address in Britain or Northern Ireland for £4. According to the pamphlet issued by the commission each half pound of butter will be wrapped and enclosed in a special container.
Those intending to use the scheme are advised that orders for Christmas delivery must be received not later than October 31.
