N.Z. IMPORT SCHEDULE
Disappointment In ( Britain (N.Z. Press Association-Copyright) LONDON, Oct.l. i Disappointment in the wool , textile provisions of the New . Zealand import licensing sched- ' ule for 1961 was expressed by ' the National Wool Textile Ex- ’ port Corporation in a statement at Bradford yesterday. . "The most that can be said of , them,” the corporation commented,. “is that whereas in re- ; cent years there have been pro- • gressive reductions in imports, next year’s licences are to be held at 1960 levels. “This is scant recognition of ' the strong representation made to the New Zealand Government . not only by British industries, ; but also by the New Zealand Wool Board, importers, whole- > salers, and others about the need . for more liberal imports.”
