CONGRATULATIONS TO NIGERIA

National Council Of Women (New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NTH, Oct. 2. The National Council of Women, in conference in Palmerston North decided to send a message of congratulations and goodwill to the women of Nigeria, on the occasion of the declaration of their country's independence. The New Zealand delegation was closely associated with the women of Nigeria at the 1957 conference in Montreal, and was keenly interested in their work for education, mothercraft and health.
