Search For Airliner
fA'.Z, Press Association—Copt/rloht* ROME, September 30. Ships, aircraft and land rescue parties are still searching for the United Arab Republic viscount airliner, with 23 persons aboard, missing an a flight from Geneva to Rome. Airport officials said the Misrair Airline plane was due at midday yesterday and had only sufficient fuel for an hour’s extra fligibt. The last message received from the aircraft was over the island of Elba, about 120 miles northwest of Rome. The weather was stormy at the time and late last night winds near gale force were blowing over the area of the search. Hundred, of ships were alerted to watch I for the .aircraft.
