CROWN SECTIONS SOLD
Ballot To Decide Owners
Thirty Crown sections at Hare-
wood, Avonhead, Riccarton, Spreydon, Wainonl, and Cashmere were sold yesterday by the Lands and Survey Department. Fifty-one applications were received for the sections and all but four of the purchasers were decided by ballot The most popular sections were Nos. 257, 310, and 45, for which there were 14 applications for each section. Prices ranged from £3OO to £875. Successful applications were:—
