SUPERANNUATION SCHEMES
Request For Review Authority (From Our Own Reporter)
WELLINGTON, September 30. A suggestion that an authority might be established to examine and review private staff superannuation schemes was made in the House of Representatives today by Mr N. E. Kirk (Government, Lyttelton). Mr Kirk asked the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) whether it would afford greater security to employee contributors to private staff superannuation schemes, and promote confidence in this type of saving, if an authority was instituted to which all new trust deeds could be referred, and which could review, where necessary, the operation of an existing scheme.
