Parliament
Sir,—l apologise to Messrs Messrs Bryce and Deavoll for nof replying earlier, having spent twq weeks at a spa in the far north where no South Island peperf seem to reach. Bit your • correspondents are merely quibbling in a manner suggestive of party prejudice, and both seem pleased that some Opposition members have descended to abusive rel marks in return for bickering bj( “new blood” Labour members Evidently they think Labour wil| win the election over such slips. Mr Bryce has confused Mr Keot* Ing’s name with that of the chair, man (Mr Keeling (Gisborne). Me Keeling should have acquainted himself with the Standing Orders before making such discrimination, not after, and Mr Nash had been in Parliament over 30 years* long enough to know better thafi make stupid reservations.—Your.<% pfr .
