*° n °‘ Publicity New Zealand and Australia seemed to enjoy having overseas—about now good their athletes were—was decried by Professor H Messel, bead u: the school of physics at Sydney University Education Association of New Zealand' th* *?rt ol publicity you want—that you have strong backs and weak he asked. Do Mr Khrushchev and Mr Eisenhower give a hoot about what you know about running?”—News item. ’ Yes. “Strong in the Back, weak in the Head” The Saying goes. We prize a Man for his Physique, instead Of What he knows.
This will not do. Professor Messel warns. This Fact remains The World that praised our Athletes also scorns Our lagging Brains. If Schools and Colleges would only set An Olympic Pace, We might catch up with Time we might not get Lapped in that Race.

We run OUR Race according to OUR Rules: AU Ranks and Sizes, The Capable, the Gifted, and the Fools Divide the Prizes.
Professor Messel says This will not do Our Brains don’t shine. We lack that vital educational Clue We’re out of Line!
