Dairy factory managers of the future would require a degree from an agricultural college, the Managers’ Association , annual Dairy Factory conference was told at Auckland today by Mr G. McWhirter, general manager of the Kaipara Co-operative Dairy Company. This was because the industry was becoming so diversified, he said. The conference, discussing the future of the dairy industry, advocated an apprenticeship training scheme.
