tN2. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 19. An Anglo-United States agreement covering the development and supply of Skybolt the American airborne missile '.on which Britain is to rely for* her independent nuclear deterrent, is understood to have been sighed in Washington. This administrative agreement gives detailed effect to the “minute of understanding” signed by the Minister of Defence (Mr Harold Watkinson) and Mr Gates, the American Secretary of Defence, in Washington in June. No details of the cost of the weapon, ch- the number Britain intends to buy have so far been disclosed, but it is understood that at least 100 Skybolts will be bought initially at a cost at many millions of pounds.
