Hawke's Bay Council's Objective

(New Zealand Press Association) HASTINGS. Sept. 21. Subject to the. approval of the University Grants Committee, a university will be established in Hawke's Bay within the next 15 to 20 years, said Mr R. V. Giorgi, acting-chairman of the Hawke’s Bay Centennial Council today. Mrs H. M. Hetley, of Otatara. has given the centennial council a 52-acre property near Taradaie as a site for a Hawke's Bay university.
