AUSTRALIA BEATS WEST COAST
(New Zealand Press Association) GREYMOUTH. August 31. The Australian women's Indoor basketball team beat West Coast by 51 points to 23 tonight. Australia's big margin was due to its ability to switch play, to zone defence, and to some very good set shots from well out.. Top scorers for Australia were Bronte Cockburn (16 points) and Rosemary Dawe (14). For West Coast the captain, Anita Hannen, top-scored with 13 points.
