tfii.Z. Press Association—uopyrlgtit) PORT ELIZABETH, Aug. 28. R. bryburgh, who captained the Springboks in the first two tests against the All Blacks, has been omitted from the South African team to tour Britain at the end of this year.
The captain will be Abe Malan, who led the Springbocks to victory in the fourth and final test yesterday. R. Lockyear was named as vicecaptain The Springboks will play 30 matches in the British Isles, including tests against England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, and will also tour France.
Another notable omission is frontrow forward, Chris Koch, the holder of 22 test caps. Others in the series against New Zealand who were not named were the hooker, B. van der Merwe, who has played in 13 internationals. and the loose forward, J. Nel The team Is:
