METHODIST SYNOD FINISHES
The four-day meetings of the annual North Canterbury Methodist synod finished yesterday afternoon with a Communion service in the Riecarton Methodist Church where all the sessions have been held. Ninety-nine persons attended the synod. On Monday the meeting was confined to ministers of the district. On Tuesday evening a service open to the public was held During the sessions 37 reports from committees of the church were presented.
