Public Hanging In Tunisia
(New Zealand Press Association) TUNIS, August 24. Five thousand Tunisians watched the public hanging of Mohammed Ben Khemais Zellal, aged 28, at the scene of his crime yesterday. The hanging was public because at the nature of Zellal’s crimes, which involved the assault and murders of > young girl and boy. The girl was buried alive.
