Harcourt (WoUington), who last week won the New Zealand billiards championship, tonight suffered a setback In his attempt to complete the double when he was beaten by R. Franks (Canterbury) in the national snooker championship at Oamaru. Harcourt has now only one life left, while Franks is the only remaining player with two lives. Today's results were:— M.
