The weather was sunny and mild, but the grounds were still heavy. Papakura High School, playing a bustling type of hockey, held West for some time in the morning game. Christ’s College went down to Napier Boys’ High School 2-0. The game was a good one, with many exciting periods. The result was in doubt until towards the end of the second spell, when Napier netted for the second time. Mount Albert Grammar beat Napier Boys’ High School 2-0 in a semi-final game to decide the team to play West tomorrow in the final.
