ENDEAVOUR AT LYTTELTON
Discharging, Loading Ammunition
The auxiliary ketch, H.M.N.Z.S. Endeavour, berthed at No. 1 breastwork at Lyttelton yesterday, shortly before 1 p.m. The Endeavour, which sailed from Wellington, is bringing ammunition for the Cass Bay depot, and for the three armed services in the Canterbury area. She will load condemned ammunition, which will be taken to sea and dumped.
The Endeavour is expected to sail for Wellington on Wednesday.
