Competition Results Results of the Bible Class Week competitions held by the Canterbury and Westland Baptist Bible Class Union were:— Young women’s solo: Gaynor Hopkins (Marchwiel); young men’s solo: Bill Jones (Spreydon); junior duet: Ria Cillekens and Valerie Johansson (Riccarton); senior duet: Barbara Goode and Glenys Walsh (St. Albans); choir: Oxford terrace; posters: Robin Walsh (St. Albans); young women’s Bible reading: Janice Wain (Timaru); young men’s Bible reading: Peter Schmitz (Opawa); junior children’s talk: Christine Dawson (Timaru) and Diane Chandler (Hornby); senior children’s talk: Eileen Sutherland (Marchwiel); junior young women’s sermonette: Lyn Florence (North Brighton); intermediate young women’s sermonette Margaret Goodman (Bryndwr); senior young women’s sermonette: Margaret Lauridson (Marchwiel); junior young men’s sermonette: Graham Armitage (Bryndwr); senior young men’s sermonette: Ken Edlin (Oxford terrace).
