Canterbury Beats West Coast, 36-2

The curtain raiser to the main league game on Saturday, a third grade match between Canterbury and West CoSst, was won by Canterbury by 36 points to 2. Canterbury proved far too good for the opposition. A very competent back line outran the West Coast many times to score good tries. There was far too much experience in Canterbury’s forwards, who played as a well drilled pack. The referee was Mr W. Gray.
