HOTEL WORKERS’ AWARD

24 Per Cent. Wage Order Incorporated (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 28. The first amendment of an industrial award, as a result of the recent amendment to the Economic Stabilisation Regulations which enables a party to a current award to apply to have the 24 per cent, general wage order incorporated, has been announced by the Arbitration Court in respect of the licensed hotels employees' award. The Court’s order gives effect to an agreement between the parties and the 24 per cent, has been incorporated in all the rates of remuneration in the award. The order will come into force on August 1.
