Cycling W. D. DALTON’S EXPENSES

N.Z.A.C.A. Defers Decision (New Zealana Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 26. After an hour-long discussion tonight the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association deferred a decision on the payment of £lOO expenses for W. D. Dalton to compete at the Rome Olympics. The meeting passed a motion rescinding a previous motion that the Otkgo-Southland centre should pay the sum. Mr L. G. King pointed out that a decision could not be made till notice of a motion was given. Otago-Southland refused to pay the sum several weeks ago. Meanwhile, the national body chairman (Mr C. G. Clark) has settled the account with the Olympic body.
