RIDERS FOR RICCARTON
W. D. Skelton’s Engagements
The Wingatui jockey. R. J. Skelton, who will be the champion for the 1959-60 season which ends on Saturday, will ride three Riccarton gallopers at the Christchurch Hunt Club’s meeting on Saturday. Skelton has been engaged for Navarone, Pitch, and Royal Duke. Yesterday he did not have a mount in the Brabazon Handicap. His brother, W. D. Skelton, who was the leading jockey last season, will ride Four Kings, Medbury, and The Toff.
