Rawls, a South Carolina orofessional, yesterday became the only woman ever to win the United States women’s open golf championship four times. Miss Rawls started the 36-hole final seven strokes behind the leaders, but she returned a four-under-par 68 equalling the open record—and while her rivals collapsed. returned a 75 to win the title with a total of 292, one stroke in front of Miss J.
