THEFT FROM AIRLINER
F. 8.1. Arrests Two Employees SAN FRANCISCO, July 24. The Federal Bureau of Investigation yesterday arrested two employees of Pan-American Airways in connexion with the theft of 140.000 dollars from a transpacific flight from Hong Kong three days ago. The F. 8.1. also recovered the money, hidden in paper bags beneath shrqbs several miles from the city airport. The money was shipped from the Dao Heng Bank of Hong Kong to a San Francisco bank on July 20. Airline officials could not find the money when the plane landed, and called in the F. 8.1.
