ALLEGED MURDER ATTEMPT
Swanerton Sent For Trial (Neto Zealand Pres* Association) WELLINGTON, July 20. William James Clifford Swanerton, aged 41, painter, was today committed to the Supreme Court for trial by Mr J. S. Hanna, S.M., at the conclusion of the Magistrate’s Court hearing against him of a charge of attempted murder of his wife, Sylvia Georgina Swanerton, at Porirua bn April
Swanerton, who was represented by Mr G. L Joseph, pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence. Mr W. R. Birks conducted the prosecution.
