Naval Recruiting
Only one of the four Christchurch youths who sought entry into the Royal New Zealand Navy on Tuesday came up to the required standard, said the naval recruiter (Chief Petty Officer A. R. Taylor). Tuesday’s interviews were for youths seeking entry as seaman and sick berth attendants.
Interviews and examinations will be held in Christchurch again in November.
