FRENCH TEST TEAM

There is only one change in the French team to meet New Zealand In the first Rugby League teat at Carlaw Park on Saturday from the side that beat Australia In the third test at Sydney. A. Perducat. who played brilliantly at Huntly today against Waikato, will replace A. Marty on the left wing Perducat was not available for the Australian test through injury. Marty is normally a back-row forward. The French test team is:— Full-back: L. Poletti. Wing,: J. Duben. A. Perducat. Centres: B. Fabre, Q Mantoulan. Five-eighths: A. Jimenez. Half-back: J. Guiraud. Back row: J. Barthe. Middle row: A. Quaglio, R. Eramouspe. Front row: A Boldini. A. Vadon. M. Bescos Reserves: F. Rossi. A. Marty. G. Benausse. the right wing, who played at Huntly today for the first time in a month, told the French selection panel that he was not fit enough for Saturday's tert, and was not considered. The French forwards for the test seem to be the strongest available. Quagllo, the former Rugby Union player, will make his first New Zealand appearance .in the test.
