REPLACING PATROL STEWARDS
Pool .Of Assistant Stipendiaries (New Zeauma Preet Alternation) WELLINGTON, July 15. The New Zealand Racing Conference today approved a remit that assistant stipendiary steward* be appointed by the executive committee to take the place of some of the present patrol stewards. The assistant stipendiary stewards will be paid by the Conference for their day’s work and for their expenses. The president, Mr G. H. Grigg, said that such appointments would give the, conference a pool from which to. draw stipendiary stewards when required.
