Road Safety

Sir, —Once again there has been a serious accident at the junction of Bryndwr and Jeffreys roads, and in almost precisely similar circumstances to the previous one. Both as motorist and cyclist I have known these crossroads for some years and have come to regard it with profound misgiving, for not only is the approach from most angles almost blind, but there are always liable to be stationary vehicles obscuring the view. I believe local residents would agree with me that unless definite measures are taken to reduce the risks here, one of these days somebody will be killed.—Yours, etc., M. TREW. July 7, 1960.
