Trap Shooting Christchurch Club’s Events
Excellent conditions favoured shooters when the Christchurch Gun Club held its splarrow clay championships at Yaldhurst on Saturday. The fine, calm weather helped many. In a large entry of competitors, to record high aeores. Five shooters scored the possible. These were L. W. Kerr. L. Jf. Eden, C. Booker, R. E. Mcllwrick. and C. J. Malzard. The chunplenship was won by L. W, Kerr for the third year in succession. with C. J. Malzard runnerup, after the shoot-off had gone to the twenty-eighth target. The B jradf championship was won by D. H. Nicholas with a score of 14 out of 13, with J. Johnston (14) namer-up after a shoot-off between these two competitors. Tbe following also scored 14 in the championship: S. R. Marston, A. W.
