Cheque For Rehua Hostel . The Christchurch Junior Chamber presented a cheque for £302 to the superintendent of the Methodist Central Mission (the Rev. W. E. Falkingham) at a recent luncheon. The donation was made to Mr Falkingham'for the mission’s hostel for Maori apprentices and was part of the proceeds raised by the Riccarton and Hornby branches of the Junior Chamber in a “blodd and bone” drive. Mr Falkingham said last evening that he was deeply grateful for the generous gift to Rehua Hostel.
