Naval Promotions Announced
(Naw ZeaihnU Prm Andciatton) WBX.LINGTON, June 30. One promotion to captain, two to commander, and one provisional promotion to commander were announced by the New Zealand Navy Board today. The promotions take effect immediately, and
the provisional promotion from December 31. The promotions are: To captain: Commander (Acting captain) L. G. Carr, D.S.C., R.N.Z.N., of Wellington To Commander: LieutenantCommander N. •D. Anderson, 8.N.Z.N., of Hastings; and Lieu-tenant-Commander F. H. Bland. R.N.Z.N., of Morrinsville. To Commander, provisionally: Lieutenant-Commander C. . F. Cutts, R.N.Z.N., of Wellington.
