Juventaa, a sprint winner on the first day. looks a strong form prospect for the Davidson Handicap, the first leg of the double, on the concluding day of the Egmont Racing Club's winter meeting at Hawera tomorrow. Shirley-Downs, winner of the Mcßae Handicap last week, should be a difficult opponent for Juventas. Last year after winning the Mcßae Handicap, Shirley-Dbwn finished second to The Lark in the Davidson Handicap on the second day. The second leg Is the Mokole Handicap, for which last year's winner Smoky Bay will ba in strong demand after his second placing last week. Drum Roll, which is a stablemate of Juventas, Waiiaha and Equal Terms are other capable sprinters In the field.
