Mr J. Fenaughty Appointed (New Hreu Assuctuliunt \ WELLINGTON, July 1. The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Holloway) today announced the appointment of Mr J. L. Fenaughty as trade commissioner in New York. The present trade commissioner (Mr G. Laurence! is returning to New Zealand later this year. Mr Fenaughty is at present trade commissioner in San . Francisco. Before his appointment to San Francisco, he was executive officer in the overseas trade division in the department’s head office. Mr Fenaughty will be replaced in San Francisco by Mr R. J. Inglis, who 'was trade commissioner in Bombay for three years and in Melbourne for seven years. Since, his return to New Zealand, Mr Inglis haS been, engaged on special duties.. These included trade surveys of South and West Africa, Fiji, and Samoa At present he-is carrying oul.a in Indonesia ' and New Guinea. >- '
