MORGAN WILLIAMS and SON, LTD., ’Phones 240 and 140 M. 1234 MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL RESTRICTION OF HEAVY TRAFFIC PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that by a resolution of the Mackenzie County Council, under Regulation 8 of the Heavy Motor Vehicles Regulations, 1955, all traffic of a weight exceeding 2 tons on any axle on any vehicle is PROHIBITED from JULY 1, 1960, to SEPTEMBER 30, 1960. on all County roads in the Tekapo Riding, Spur road and on all County roads in the Opuha Riding that are situated northward of the Clayton road bridge over the South branch of the Opuha river (North river). The Council considers that the above described roads are not fit for unrestricted traffic during the above period, being frequently soft. Among the roads affected by the decision are the following:— Glen Lyon, Rhoborough and Ben Ohau, Haldon, Stoney Creek, Braemar, Godley Peaks, Richmond, Clayton, Lachaber, Middle Plantation, Morris’, Butler’s, Clayton Settlement, Cora Lynn. Spur road and Rollesby Valley. ANY PERSON operating any traffic that weighs more than 2 tons on any axle over the above roads during the above period is liable to prosecution. B. W. PERRIN.
