(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright} LONDON. June- 29 Harvard University, the American holders for the last two yeans, shattered the course record by 6sec with a time of 6mm 39sec in beating Isis. Oxford University's second eight, in a heat of the Thames Cup at Henley Royal regatta today. In the first heat <3 the Diamond Sculls. S. C.' Rand (London) beat G. Beech (London) by two and * half lengths in Bmin 6sec. The Australian, S. Mackenzie, holder for the last three years, is defending the title.
