Grant For Repairs
To Yard
The Education Department has approved a grant of £205 for repairs to the asphalt yard at Papanui High School. A letter from the department received at a meeting of the school’s board of governors said that two additional first-aid kits would be supplied to the school.
The acting headmaster (Mr F. T. Harper) said that a concert arranged by the Parent Teacher Association and the Ex-students Association had realised about £7O. The money would be given for the provision of shower rooms and dressing rooms for the school gymnasium.
