Sir,—Your leading article really gets to the point of why is it that the Health Department ir designed to have the last say in all medical matter* in the country. It seems that the notion of representation of management has given way to the idea of control without real reference to the rights and intefosts df anyone who is not in government employment This attempt at restoration of fair dealing by the proposed setting up of a Child Health Council with full and free representaion and hearing must at all costs be carried through.—Yours, etc, MEDICAL PRACTITIONER.
