Somerfield Garden Club.—Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Somerfield Sarden Club were: President, Mrs L. Wiltshire; vice-presidents, Mesdames M. Judd and R. Timms; secretary, Mrs D. C. Wyse; assistant secretary, Mrs G. Green; treasurer, Mrs R. Rickerby; committee, Mesdames W. A. Hardie, G. Gibb, G Green, G. Street. Annual competition winners were: Decorative A, Mrs G. Gibb; decorative B, Mrs R. Timms; flower of the month, Mrs G. Green; best bloom. Mrs G. Gibb; best shrub, Mrs G. Gibb; vegetable, Mrs R. L. Rickerby; most points in all sections. Mrs G. Gibb; most entries, Mrs W.. A. Hardie. Gold Star Mothers’ Club.—Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Gold Star Mothers’ Club were: President, Mrs O. Paterson; vice-presidents, Mesdames M. G. Scott and A. Rogers; secretary, Mrs E. Young; treasurer, Mrs M. Watson; birthday secretary, Mrs V. Cooper; committee, Mesdames E. Askew, H. Hawkins, L. Mackenzie, L. McKenzie, G. Ridden, J. Williams. Lectures On Anglican Faith.— At the second lecture on the Anglican faith to members of the Young Wives’ Group and the Mothers’ Union, the Rev. M. Peaston spoke on “belonging and becoming”— "how one belongs through baptism and confirmation, and grows in the Christian faith through learning and doing.”
