TWO MOTORISTS SOUGHT
Drove On After Hitting Cyclists
Two motorists who drove on after being involved in collisions with cyclists recently are still being sought by the police. In one accident on Friday evening a power cyclist, Laurenson Scott Neilson, of 54 Avalon street, was admitted to hospital with a broken leg after being struck by a car believed to have been driven by a woman. The accident occurred at the intersection of Hereford and Madras streets. A girl aged 14 was knocked off her bicycle in the second accident, at the intersection of Colombo street and Bealey avenue during heavy rain on Monday evening. The girl. Gillian Lesley McDonald, of 25 Jacobs street, St. Albans, suffered minor injuries and was taken home by a passer-by.
