MR F. R. PRICE (above) was elected chairman of the Christchurch Drainage Board last evening. He succeeded Mr G. A. G. Connal, who held office from the end of 1957, and who did rot seek re-election. Mr Price has been a member of the board since 1954 and chairman of the works committee for the last two years.
