Mr K. A. Gough For
Selection
Mr K. A. Gough, a 45-year-old barrister and solicitor, is a possible National Party candidate for the Labour-held seat of St. Albans at the General Election this year. By announcing yesterday that he was available for selection, Mr Gough became the eighth person likely to go before the St. Albans electorate committee of the party when it meets to make the selection next month Nominations will close next Tuesday. Mr Gough is well known for his interest in education. He is chairman of the Linwood High School’s board of governors and was a foundation member of the Christchurch Post-primary Schools’ Council. He is a former president of the Christchurch High School Gid Boys’ Association.
