SCHOOLS’ ART EXHIBITION
Festival To Be Held In City “A Little Arts Festival” arranged by the art departments of the Papanui, Cashmere, and Riccarton high schools will be held at the Durham Street Art Gallery from June 25 to July 5, to give parents the opportunity of viewing the variety and quality of the children’s work and to give the pupils a chance of seeing the work of pupils in other schools. The school staffs hope the exhibition under ideal conditions in a professional gallery will help stimulate the children’s interest in art.
The festival will be officially open on June 24 at 8 p m., by Mr John Oakley.
