Christchurch Boy’s Cadetship
Michael Clark, of Woolston, who is 17, has peen awarded an officer cadetship with the Shell Petroleum Cofcipany Ltd., and will leave for (training in Singapore next weeks. After a four-month course at a naval college he will be posted to a ship (for four years. When his apprenticeship is finished he will sit ffcr his second mate’s certificate.
Michael j Clark was a deputy head prefect at Linwood High School aim captain of the first football fifteen. He is a third year leading seaman of the Sea Cadet Coms.
