Quemoy Again Shelled

(Rec. 10 p.m.) TAIPEH. June 6 Chinese Communist artillery shelled the Quemoy islands yesterday for the second consecutive day, British United Press reported.

The Nationalist Ministry of Defence said more than 100 shells were fired.

Communist artillery fired a 500-round bombardment on Saturday, the heaviest in the Formosa Strait in 17 months.
