The Herd comprises: 23 Friesian and Friesian-Ayrshire Cross Cows. 3 Friesian and Friesian-Ayr-shire Cross Heifers. 26 These cows range from 2nd to 6th calvers, the majority being young cows. They are in calf to a Purebred Friesian Bull, and are DUE AUGUST 20 to SEPTEMBER. The herd AVERAGED 5 GALLONS OF MILK for the last season and RETURNED OVER 9000 LB of BUTTERFAT under extremely dry conditions All cows have gone out sound, and individual calving dates will be given ‘at the sale.
